Sinotruk Howo heavy water tender fire fighting engine Congo (Kinshasa)

The Sinotruk HOWO heavy water tender fire fighting engine is a 20000 litre fire fighting vehicle built on an 8x4 HOWO chassis with a 420 HP diesel engine and 10 speed manual gearbox. It is designed for fire brigades and industrial safety teams that must respond to fires in areas without hydrant access and sustain a continuous water stream long enough to control large-scale fires. The CB 10/60 normal pressure pump delivers 60 litres per second at 1.0 MPa and feeds a PS60 monitor capable of projecting water over 75 metres, allowing crews to operate from a safe distance during tank farm, warehouse, or forest fires.

Key Benefits

  • 20000 litre carbon steel tank maintains a 60 l/s stream without needing a water shuttle
  • PS60 roof monitor reaches beyond 75 metres so crews stay outside the radiant heat zone
  • Sandwich PTO lubricated by splash allows pump and roll fire fighting while the truck is moving
  • Aluminium alloy roller shutter lockers keep hose and branch equipment sealed against dust and rain
  • 8x4 HOWO chassis carries the full tank on unpaved access roads and quarry tracks
  • Tank baffles and a single manhole with quick locking device limit surge under emergency braking

Water tanker truck with a fire pump addedCheaper per litre carried but has no monitor lockers or GB7965 compliant fire fighting layout
