Overhead lighting in a sewing hall throws the operator's own shadow onto the needle plate, which is exactly where the light is needed. A machine-mounted lamp puts light under the operator's hands. Getting that right at scale means the lamp has to survive lint, machine oil and years of continuous running, and it has to work on whatever mains voltage the site happens to have.

What voltage do your lamps take
Most models take 85V-265V, which covers every common mains supply with no switch or adapter. Some models are specified at 110V/220V. The input range is stated on every product page.
