NEMA 5-30P
Dryer, range and recreational vehicle cords are the heavy end of the North American range. Dryer cords use the NEMA 14-30P four-wire and 10-30P three-wire patterns, range cords use 14-50P and 10-50P, and RV cords use 14-50P, 6-50P and TT-30P style connections for shore power.

How It Is Made
The plug is moulded directly onto the cable on our own tooling, so there is no screw joint and no field wiring. The company runs first class producing equipment and advanced mould processing equipment, and quality control is applied at each stage rather than only at the end.
These builds use 10, 8 and 6 AWG conductors in STW, STOW, STOOW, SOW and SOOW jacketed cable, with a moulded plug and a ring terminal or moulded connector at the appliance end.

Questions About Dryer and RV Cords
Do I need a three-wire or four-wire dryer cord?
It depends on the outlet already installed. Newer installations use the four-wire 14-30 pattern with a separate ground, older ones use the three-wire 10-30 pattern.
What gauge is used for a 50 A cord?
6 AWG and 8 AWG conductors are the usual choices for 50 A service. We will confirm against your run length.
Can you fit ring terminals?
Yes. Ring terminals for the appliance terminal block are standard on dryer and range cords.
Are RV cords weather rated?
They are built on W rated jacketed cable for outdoor and dockside use.
