This is the core North American range: NEMA straight-blade cord sets built to UL and cUL approval. It covers the 1-15P two-blade plug for Class II products, the 5-15P and 5-20P grounded plugs at 125 V, the 6-15P and 6-20P plugs at 250 V, and the heavy 5-30P, 6-30P, 10-50P, 14-50P and 15-50P plugs used for ranges, dryers and equipment feeds.

How It Is Made
The plug is moulded directly onto the cable on our own tooling, so there is no screw joint and no field wiring. The company runs first class producing equipment and advanced mould processing equipment, and quality control is applied at each stage rather than only at the end.
Each cord set is specified by plug pattern, cable gauge and cable type. SPT-1, SPT-2 and SPT-3 parallel cord suits light appliance work, SVT and SJT jacketed cord covers general use, and ST, SO and SOOW rated cable is used where the cord is dragged, exposed to oil or used outdoors. Hospital grade versions are available on the 5-15P pattern.

Which NEMA plug do I need?
It follows voltage and current. 5-15P covers 15 A at 125 V, 5-20P is 20 A at 125 V, 6-15P and 6-20P are 250 V, and the 30 A and 50 A patterns serve dryers, ranges and equipment feeds.
What is the difference between SPT, SVT and SJT cable?
SPT is a parallel light duty cord, SVT is a light jacketed cord for portable appliances and SJT is a junior hard service jacketed cord for general duty. Heavier ST, S and SO grades are used where the cord takes abuse.
Do you make hospital grade cords?
Yes. The hospital grade 5-15P build is part of this range.
