Low smoke zero halogen cord sets use a compound that gives off very little smoke and no halogen acid gas when it burns. In an enclosed space the smoke and the corrosive gas from ordinary PVC are the immediate danger, which is why LSZH cable is specified for tunnels, rail vehicles, ships and equipment rooms.

How It Is Made
The plug is moulded directly onto the cable on our own tooling, so there is no screw joint and no field wiring. The company runs first class producing equipment and advanced mould processing equipment, and quality control is applied at each stage rather than only at the end.
We build LSZH cords in European and UK plug patterns with IEC 60320 connectors at the appliance end.
