Denmark plug
Denmark uses the Afsnit 107-2-D1 plug, a three-pin pattern with the earth pin on the plug itself rather than in the socket. Standard European CEE 7/7 plugs will enter many Danish sockets but will not make the earth connection, which is why an earthed appliance needs the Danish plug.

The plug is moulded directly onto the cable on our own tooling, so there is no screw joint and no field wiring. The company runs first class producing equipment and advanced mould processing equipment, and quality control is applied at each stage rather than only at the end.
We mould Danish plugs onto flexible cable and finish them with an IEC connector or prepared leads.

Questions About Denmark Power Cords
Can I use a CEE 7/7 plug in Denmark?
It may physically enter the socket but it will not earth the appliance, so a Class I product needs the Danish plug.
