A kitchen appliance built in one factory is sold across Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East. Each destination has its own plug pattern and its own approval body, and a cord that is right for Germany will not clear customs in Australia.
We hold every one of those patterns on the same production line, so one purchase order covers the whole range. The appliance inlet stays the same and only the plug end changes.
