What an overseas buyer actually has to manage when packaging is made in China, and which parts of it we handle.
Why This Sequence Matters
Buying flexible packaging across an ocean adds four problems that a domestic supplier never puts in front of you: minimum quantities that assume a full print run, tooling that has to be right before it is cut, lead times measured in sailings rather than days, and a specification that has to survive being read in a second language. - Minimum Order Quantity
Gravure printing spreads its setup over the run, so small volumes price badly.
Documented minimums on our range start at 20,000 pcs for bag in box, 30,000 pcs for block bottom bags and 50,000 pcs for flower sleeves. Ask for the minimum on your format before you plan the launch. - Sampling
Approving a bag from a photograph is how the wrong bag gets made 50,000 times.
Samples are available before the run. Build approval time into your schedule rather than compressing it at the end. - Specification in Writing
Verbal agreement across two languages is where dimensions quietly change.
Format, dimensions, film structure, colour count, fitment sizes and packing method go on the quotation. What is on the quotation is what gets made. - Packing and Documentation
Good product arrives damaged or held at the port.
Export cartons as standard, roll or sheet form where the format calls for it, and the shipping documents your customs broker asks for. - Freight and Ports
Flat packed film ships far better than rigid packaging, and that is most of the saving.
Pouches and bags ship flat, so a container carries far more units than the rigid equivalent. We quote delivered to the port you nominate. - Repeat Orders
The second order is where colour drift and spec creep appear.
Cylinders and the approved proof stay on file, so the repeat run is made against the same reference as the first.
