What CPP Film Is
CPP film is a polypropylene film produced by a cast extrusion process. It is different from BOPP bidirectional polypropylene film and belongs to non-oriented film. After printing and compounding and bag making it is converted into bags and films for food, medicine and industrial packaging.

CPP offers good transparency, high gloss, good stiffness, good moisture resistance, excellent heat resistance and easy heat sealing. It also resists acid, alkali and grease, which is why it is selected for bread packaging or laminates. It is safe to contact with food and does not affect the flavor of the food.
How Heat Resistance Opens Hot Fill Uses
CPP is suited to heat exposure because the PP softening point is about 140 degrees Celsius. Such films can be used in hot filling, retort pouch and aseptic packaging. Growing uses include candy twisting film, infusion bags, self-adhesive tape, business card holders and ring folders where heat sealing and clarity are needed.

Select general CPP film, aluminum plated CPP film or cooking grade CPP film according to end use, and select the resin grade to obtain the characteristics you need. On the cast line the T-type head controls even flow, the chill roll surface roughness is no more than 0.15mm with stable rotation, and thickness uses beta or infrared monitoring.
