1.5 ATA Chambers Questions
What does 1.5 ATA actually mean?
ATA is atmospheres absolute - the total pressure inside the chamber including the atmosphere already around you. 1.5 ATA is one and a half times sea-level pressure, roughly 7 psi of gauge pressure.
Is 1.5 ATA enough, or should I buy 2.0 ATA?
It depends on who uses it. 1.5 ATA suits daily home and wellness use; 2.0 ATA gives a deeper dose per session and is more common in clinics and athlete recovery. Operators with a mixed client base often buy the OTL15, which is configurable, or run one chamber of each.
Do 1.5 ATA chambers use the same All-in-One machine?
Yes. The All-in-One Oxygen and Air Machine combines the concentrator and the compressor and pairs across the chamber range, which keeps spares and service consistent if you later add a second chamber.
What is the lead time on a 1.5 ATA model?
10 to 30 days after quality testing for most models, confirmed at order. The OTL19 is quoted at 10 to 20 days and the OTB at 25 to 30 days.
