What This Mat Is and Who It Is For
The Pool Grid EVA Foam Mat is an open-grid tile made for wet areas. Water falls straight through the grid instead of pooling on the surface, which is what keeps the walking area safe around a swimming pool, a shower block or a sauna.
The EVA body is resistant to water, mould and mildew, so the tile can be lifted, hosed down and put back rather than replaced at the end of a season.

Compounding
EVA resin and additives are weighed and mixed to the density the order calls for - 70-75 kg/m3 for standard lines, 80 kg/m3 for tatami and rubber-blend tiles.
Foaming
The compound is foamed into blocks on our own foaming lines. This is the step that fixes density, hardness and how the mat will behave under load.
Lamination
Printed film or suede surfaces are laminated onto the foam base for the wood-grain, plush and printed puzzle lines.
Die-cutting
Blocks are cut to tile size and the interlocking puzzle teeth are die-cut. Cut accuracy is what decides whether the seams close cleanly on site.
Quality control
Incoming material checks, in-process inspection and final sampling before every shipment.
Packing and shipping
Shrink-wrapped inner packing with a carton outer, loaded close to Shanghai and Qingdao seaports.

Laying and Maintaining the Floor
Lay the tiles directly on the existing hard floor - no adhesive is required.
Keep a clear run to the nearest drain so the water that passes through has somewhere to go.
Lift and hose the tiles on the facility's normal cleaning cycle.
Let the tiles drain before relaying them.
Replace individual tiles rather than the whole run when one is damaged.

Will the mat stay in place when wet?
The tiles interlock on all four sides, which holds the run together, and the open grid keeps water from building up under the foot.
Does the foam absorb water?
No. The EVA is closed-cell and resistant to water, mould and mildew, which is why the tile can be hosed down and reused.
Can it be used outdoors on a deck?
Yes. Outdoor deck and patio areas are one of the listed applications.
What sizes are available?
