Decide date format, serial scheme, barcode symbology and logo.
MINI UV lists Code39, Code128, Code126, QR, Zhenzhi, Data Matrix and visual codes. Flying lasers list variable data (serial, date, counter, shift) plus point, line, arc, text, rectangle and circle. T260E / T220E explicitly list GS1 code plus barcode and QR.
Artwork arrives as office files, not laser-ready vectors.
Published file formats: lasers BMP/DXF/HPGL/JPEG/PLT; handheld lasers JPG/PNG/BMP. TIJ units print text, date, barcode, QR, serial, variable data and LOGO from the controller.
Each pack must get the next serial without duplicates.
MINI UV exposes photoelectric trigger and synchronizer I/O. Flying lasers add USB, serial and Ethernet. Dual-head TIJ adds USB, RS232 and Ethernet so a line PLC can pace the code.
GS1 and QR need height that a single half-inch cartridge may not give.
T260E / T220E switch between half-inch (up to 12.7mm, 4 lines) and one-inch (up to 25.4mm, 8 lines). PF640 and M50 handhelds print up to 50mm. Laser fields are 50x50, 100x100 or 110x110mm.
Operators in export plants need local UI language.
Controllers list English plus Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Thai, Japanese, Korean and others depending on the model. Do not claim a language that is not on that model's spec table.
