Range Planning
Problem. Pieces sourced separately arrive in different whites and different weights.
The set is specified as one brief: one momme weight, one colour reference, one artwork.
Size Sheet
Problem. Pillowcase sizes vary by market and the wrong size sits loose on the pillow.
We make standard 51 x 66 cm, queen 51 x 76 cm and king 51 x 91 cm, or work to your own size sheet.
Material
Problem. Retail onboarding asks for a material certificate that most suppliers cannot produce.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 material is available for the skin-contact pieces in the set.
Closure And Fit
Problem. Zips that catch hair and bonnets that ride off are the two most common returns.
Envelope, zipper and Oxford closures on pillowcases; elastic or ribbon on bonnets, set at the plate stage.
Printing And Dyeing
Problem. Matching a print across four different shapes is where sets usually fall apart.
One artwork is scaled per piece and printed in the same run, or the whole set is piece dyed to your Pantone number.
Packing
Problem. Gift sets are assembled by a third party, adding time and another point of failure.
Pieces are inspected, ironed, assembled and packed to your packaging design before shipment.

- Suzhou JL Silk Co., Ltd is the export arm; the mill behind it is Suzhou Guoyun Silk Factory.
- The group has been manufacturing scarves and garments since 2005.
- A research and development team was set up in 2015 to develop new patterns and products.
- Suzhou JL Silk Co., Ltd, the export trading company, was established in 2017.
- The group invested in a digital print factory in Hangzhou and extended the range to silk eye masks, pillowcases, bonnets and scrunchies.
- Digital printing runs in house on fabric widths of 90 cm, 114 cm, 140 cm and 190 cm.
- Screen printing is handled by a nearby partner factory with 15 years of print experience.
- The sewing department, plate making room and packing area are all under the same roof.
- Every product is inspected, ironed and packed by hand before it ships.

Do I Approve Anything Before Bulk
Yes. A sample is produced for pattern, colour, size and quality approval before the bulk run is scheduled.
How Are Goods Shipped
DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT are the carriers we use most, and you can nominate the mode, the forwarder, or delivery on to your own customer.
