Which standards does this toughened glass insulator follow?
Designs follow GB, ANSI, BS, DIN, AS and IEC dimensions. Type test reports are available from Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the National Ceramic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center.
Can I have the goods inspected before shipment?
Yes. Buyers are welcome to inspect in person, and Huayao accepts third-party pre-shipment inspection appointed by the buyer, including Intertek, BV and SGS.
What is the production capacity behind this item?
The plant runs one natural-gas electric melting kiln with a melting area of about 50 m² and two production lines, with an annual capacity of six million pieces of AC and DC glass insulators. Stock is held on common types.
What happens if a glass shell is damaged in service?
A toughened glass shell shatters and leaves the cap and pin carrying the line, so a zero-value unit can be spotted on a ground or helicopter patrol instead of a hot-line test.
