Jiangxi Huayao Electric Co., Ltd. runs an ultra-high voltage toughened glass insulator line in Luxi County, Jiangxi, with equipment imported from Germany and Italy.

What We Do
Huayao produces a full range of glass insulators from 40 kN to 550 kN, covering the construction needs of 10 kV to 500 kV ultra-high voltage and extra high voltage transmission lines. The product system covers standard type, pollution resistant type and aerodynamic type profiles, plus a porcelain range for distribution work.
All products follow international standards including IEC, the Chinese national standards GB and the American ANSI standards, with BS, DIN and AS dimensions supported as well.
Products are used in power transmission and grid construction, and have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions including the Middle East, South Africa and Southeast Asia.
What The Plant Can Do
Capability 01
One natural-gas electric melting kiln with a melting area of about 50 m².
Capability 02
Two modern production lines with tempering machines, cold and hot shock lines and homogenisation treatment lines.
Capability 03
Production and testing equipment imported from Germany and Italy.
Capability 04
Routine tensile load test on every single insulator; any piece that breaks is removed and traced.

Pressing and tempering
Glass is melted, pressed into shells and tempered on two modern lines built around equipment imported from Germany and Italy.
Workshop floor
The 17,200 m² plant holds work in progress between tempering, cold and hot shock testing and homogenisation.
Process control
ERP, MES and CRM systems connect raw material traceability through to shipment records.
