The RS1501 sits on one finger and triggers with the thumb. Nothing is held, so the picker's hands stay free for cartons, totes and trolleys — the single biggest source of wasted motion in manual picking.

It reads with a 640x480 CMOS imager and connects three ways: Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless or USB cable, so the same unit works against a phone in the aisle and a PC at the pack bench. It is rated to run from -20°C to 60°C, which covers chilled and frozen storage.
