Horizontal single-stage, back-pull-out, PP / PE / UHMW-PE
The KCP series is a horizontal single stage water pump with a back pull out construction. The wetted parts are thermoplastic — PP, PE or UHMW-PE — and the pump handles a solid content of approximately 10 per cent.
It is offered with a closed or a semi-open impeller and mounted either on a welded base frame or on a cast iron base plate. Bearings are grease lubricated and the shaft seal is a single type.
PP, PE and UHMW-PE are available where a plastic wetted part is preferred over metal.
A solid content limit value of approximately 10 per cent.
The impeller is selected to suit the liquid rather than fixed by the frame.
The rotating assembly is withdrawn without disturbing the casing or the pipework.
No oil system, no oil level to check and no oil to change.
A welded base frame or a cast iron base plate depending on the installation.
Duty where the liquid carries around 10 per cent solids.
Continuous operation with a liquid temperature up to 80°C.

Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, the most wear resistant of the three.
Casings and impellers are machined in house, staged through the parts store and assembled into complete sets. Finished pumps are coupled up on the test bench with the suction and discharge lines connected before they are packed.

Flow, head, liquid, temperature and supply frequency decide the size. Give the normal duty and the maximum duty if they differ.
The wetted material is chosen for the liquid, not for the pump. Check the materials listed above against what you are pumping.
