What Ref 223 Actually Is
Reference 223 is a custom sign letter set built to the artwork supplied, with the construction chosen to suit the letter height and the fixing surface, made in mirror polished stainless steel with a full mirror polish. It is not a stock item. The photograph shows one set we built; what you receive is the same construction cut to your own letters, your own height and your own colour.
A mirror face borrows the colour of whatever is in front of it, which is why it suits lobbies, boutique frontages and dark cladding where a matt letter would disappear.
Letters are computer-cut for precision, fully welded, and painted to the PMS or RAL reference you supply.

Mirror faces show handling marks, so they are wrapped individually and unwrapped only at installation.
Welds are ground back before the finish is applied, so the grain or polish runs across the joint rather than stopping at it. Faces are checked against the approval drawing for letter spacing and stroke weight before packing.

What stainless grade do you use?

Do you work from our own artwork?
Yes — that is the normal way we work. Send vector artwork and we cut from it. If all you have is a sketch or a photograph, we will redraw it and send the drawing back for approval first.
Is there a warranty on the letters?

What lead time should we plan for?
