Yes. The COSW14-W uses a wide W-Type entrance designed for direct wheelchair entry, which removes the transfer step and the staffing it requires.
Can a therapist stay with the patient during the session?
The COSW14 seats two adults, so a therapist, caregiver or family member can remain inside. Multiplace hard-shell chambers also allow an accompanying attendant.
How does the therapist monitor a patient in a hard-shell chamber?
Through the viewing window, the external control panel and the two-way telephone or Bluetooth intercom, which stays open throughout the session.
What pressure is used in rehabilitation settings?
Mild hyperbaric pressures of 1.4-1.5 ATA are common for supervised soft-chamber programmes, while multiplace hard-shell chambers can be operated from 1.2 up to 2.0 ATA.
