Pre-formed PVC liner pull-in repair — DN150–DN1000, any cross-section
The Thermoplastic Forming Repair Method involves manufacturing a liner at a factory — pressing it into an H-shape or another specific profile — and then winding it onto a spool for transport to the construction site.
The Thermoplastic Forming Repair Method involves manufacturing a liner at a factory — pressing it into an H-shape or another specific profile — and then winding it onto a spool for transport to the construction site.
Either during transit or upon arrival at the site, specialized equipment is used to heat the liner, enabling it to be inserted into the existing pipeline via a pulling mechanism. Through a process of combined heating and pressurization, the liner is expanded to match the original pipe diameter, ensuring a tight fit against the host pipe inner wall.
Subsequently, ambient or chilled gas is introduced to cool and set the liner, resulting in a finished lining that adheres seamlessly to the interior surface of the original pipeline.
Our company has successfully applied this technology to the repair of steel, concrete, and cast-iron pipelines ranging in diameter from Φ150mm to Φ1200mm.
