Global Shipping and Installation
A sculpture is not delivered until it is standing on your site. These are the three shipping routes we use, what each one costs you in time, and what happens at your end.
What Happens and Why It Matters
Door to Door Air Express
The problem. Samples and single small pieces sit waiting for a container that will not sail for weeks.
How we handle it. Air express courier for samples and small orders. DHL, UPS, FedEx and Aramex are available for most countries and usually take 5 to 8 days. China EMS is available for certain countries and usually takes 10 to 16 days. Remote addresses carry a remote area surcharge from the courier.
Bulk Air Freight Door to Airport
The problem. A medium order is too heavy for express pricing but too urgent to sit on the water.
How we handle it. Bulk air shipment, usually about 5 days to your local airport. The price is much better than express and faster than sea. Your forwarder collects the goods at the airport.
Sea Freight Warehouse to Seaport
The problem. Large sculptures and multi piece schemes make air freight uneconomic.
How we handle it. Sea shipping, usually 15 to 45 days to your local customs and the cheapest route. Customs clearance paperwork and procedures are handled by the courier, who may contact you to confirm shipment details. Where extra paperwork is required we assist as much as possible.
On Site Fixing
The problem. A large sphere resting loose on paving can shift and there is no fixing detail to hand to the contractor.
How we handle it. A steel tube base can be installed on request so the piece can be fixed to a foundation rather than standing free.

How long does delivery take
Air express is usually 5 to 8 days and China EMS 10 to 16 days. Bulk air freight is about 5 days to your airport. Sea freight is usually 15 to 45 days to your local customs.
Which route suits a single large sphere
Sea freight is normally the only economic route for a large sculpture, and it is also the cheapest per piece.
Who handles customs clearance
Customs clearance paperwork and procedures are handled by the courier. They may contact you to confirm shipment details, and we assist where additional paperwork is required.
Is there an extra charge for remote addresses
Yes. Express companies add a remote area service cost when the delivery address is in a remote area.
Can you supply a fixing base
A steel tube base can be installed on request for pieces that need to be fixed to a foundation.
