Why Size Matters in Outdoor Sculpture Design
The size of a sphere sculpture directly affects how it reads in its environment. A 1000 mm diameter sphere fits well in garden corners, plaza edges and indoor lobbies. A 1500 mm sphere commands attention in large atriums, waterfront promenades and open park spaces. Custom sizes are accepted, so the final dimension can be set to match the site's scale and visual rhythm.
Standard Sizes and Their Common Applications
We produce two standard sizes: 1000 mm and 1500 mm diameter spheres. The 1000 mm size is typical for garden features, indoor wall panels and smaller public spaces. The 1500 mm size is used for major focal points in plazas, hotel lobbies and large park installations. Both are made from stainless steel 304 or 316 and can be mirror polished or finished to your specification.
Custom Sizing Is Built Into the Process
Every sculpture is made to your own drawings, pictures and dimensions. The size is not fixed by stock or standard templates. Once you provide the desired diameter or overall dimensions, we confirm the design with a model before production begins. This ensures the final piece fits your site exactly.
How Base Installation Affects Size Choice
A steel tube base can be installed on request to support the sphere. This adds height and stability, especially for larger or outdoor pieces. When choosing size, consider the base height and how it affects the sculpture's visual balance in the space. The base is not included by default but can be added during the drawing confirmation stage.
Sphere Forms Are Not Limited to Round Shapes
While the standard form is a sphere, we also make water drop, pebble, golf ball, football, volleyball, elliptical egg and globe shapes. These forms can be sized individually or in groups. The size of each component is set by your design, and the full assembly is built to your drawings and dimensions.
