The plant had to produce several bolt sizes to US standard practice with equipment that arrived as a working set rather than as separate machines.
Zino supplied an upsetting machine, a multi stage bolt machine with four main dies and four punching dies, and a thread rolling machine, including the full die set. The Zino role covered planning, design, integration, delivery, equipment debugging, trial production, testing, training, technical support, maintenance and servicing.
Machines and die sets were delivered together so that commissioning did not wait on tooling.
