Buyers compare diode counts and lumens. Lamps mostly fail at the seal. A gasketed, screwed lamp body relies on compression that relaxes with heat cycling and vibration, and once water is inside, the LED board is finished.
The PC lens and the housing are welded into one permanent body. There is no gasket to relax and no fastener to loosen. WEIKANG specifies this construction across the truck and trailer range, rated IP67.
A welded lamp is not serviceable. You cannot open it to replace a diode or reseal it. For fleet lighting that is the right trade: the lamp is a consumable that either works or is replaced, not something a workshop repairs.
Finished lamps go through a rain test rig and salt spray testing, and each batch is inspected 100% before delivery.
