Why choose VHF instead of UHF?
VHF systems are usually crystal-controlled and run on a single frequency. Where that frequency is chosen correctly for the venue, the system works for years without adjustment, which suits permanent installations. UHF is the better choice where many systems share one space or where the frequency plan has to change often.
How many systems can run in the same room?
As a planning rule there is room for roughly one to two microphones per megahertz of available spectrum, and intermodulation between transmitters has to be calculated rather than guessed. Tell us how many channels you need in one space and where it will be used, and we will confirm what the frequency plan allows.
Are frequency and channel specifications published for each model?
Per-model frequency bands, channel counts and operating range are not published on the current catalogue and are marked TBC. Email the model number and destination country and the factory will send the specification sheet.
