Where this fits
Custom synthesis is the core of WesynTech's early-stage work: privileged building blocks and one-off compounds made for R&D projects that cannot wait for a catalogue listing. Scale runs from grams for a first biological read-out up to the hundred-kilogram range once a compound earns its place in the programme.
What the team brings to it
Fourteen people — 4 master's-degree chemists, 6 bachelor's-degree chemists and 4 research assistants — working across close to 600 m² of laboratory space. Technical depth is concentrated in chiral compounds, fluorine-containing compounds, boronic acids and esters, and common heterocyclic systems: the four classes that most often decide whether a route is difficult or routine.
Why the same team should carry it forward
The chemists who scout the route are the ones who run it in the pilot plant. Nothing is handed across an internal boundary, so the reasons behind a solvent choice or a work-up change do not have to be rediscovered when the batch size goes up.

- Route assessmentThe team proposes a route and flags the steps that carry risk — a chiral centre, a fluorination, a boronate that may not survive work-up.
- Laboratory executionSynthesis at gram to tens-of-grams scale, with the analytical checks agreed for the project.
- Delivery and next stepMaterial is delivered with its documentation package. If the compound is going forward, the same route moves into process development rather than being rebuilt from scratch.

Custom synthesis capability is stated from gram scale upward, so single-gram requests for an early read-out are in scope.
Can you work from a patent example rather than a published procedure?
Yes — structures from patents, papers or an internal sketch are all workable starting points. What matters is that the target structure and the required quantity are clear.
Does the route stay with WesynTech if the project scales?
It does. The pilot plant and the laboratory are staffed by the same chemists, and industrial-scale volumes go to long-term partner plants using the route already developed.
