Scope the brand items
Brands often ask to print everything and then discover half the range has no printable surface.
Decide which items carry the mark: cases and chalk boxes print easily, cartons always, and chalk itself can be made in custom colours and shapes.
Send artwork and references
Artwork agreed verbally arrives somewhere else.
Vector artwork with the position marked, plus a colour reference, goes by email before anything is sampled.
Sample
A production run is the most expensive place to discover a print is too small to read.
A physical sample is produced and approved. The source FAQ states samples are offered before the order, and this is the stage they exist for.
Confirm packing
Retail-ready goods packed for bulk cannot be sold on arrival.
Retail packing, inner boxes and carton markings are agreed against the destination: shelf, warehouse or marketplace fulfilment.
Production against the approved sample
Silent substitutions between sample and production are the classic OEM failure.
The run is matched to the approved sample, and anything that would have to change is raised before production rather than after arrival.
QC and shipment
A branded fault damages the brand, not the factory.
