Establish the baseline
Rooms rarely know which chalk or tip they are actually using.
Identify the exact product page for the chalk grade, the tip diameter and the glove style currently in use, and order against that page from then on.
Set the pack sizes
Retail packs bought at bulk scale waste money on packaging.
Chalk runs from single wrapped pieces to 100-piece boxes and tips come in 50-piece packs, so the pack size can match the consumption.
Trial before switching
Switching chalk grade across a room mid-season changes how every table plays at once.
A sample order of the alternative grade goes to one or two tables before the room changes over.
Fix the reorder cycle
Consumables get reordered when they run out, which is always the worst moment.
Agree a cycle against your own usage so the reorder is placed before the room is out, and quote it against the same page each time.
Keep quality visible
A bad batch is only obvious after it is in play.
Full QC before shipment, with the source's stated refund or replacement on quality faults, and photographs of any fault sent back from the room.
