STN2320 is a heat pump room thermostat built for installers who need one part number to cover scheduled and non-scheduled jobs. The same unit runs as 7 day, 5/1/1 or fully non-programmable, drives 2 heat and 1 cool stages, and reads room temperature to +/-1 C at 20 C. Separate B and O terminals let it sit on reversing valve systems that energise in either heating or cooling without a wiring adapter.

Does the STN2320 work without a C wire?
Yes. It runs on 2 x AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries, or on 24VAC (18 to 30VAC, 50/60 Hz) when a common wire is present.
Can it control a reversing valve that energises in heating?
Yes. B and O are separate terminals, so the valve can be driven in heating or in cooling without an external relay.
How accurate is the room temperature reading?
Measurement accuracy is +/-1 C at 20 C, and a calibration offset is available in the setup menu.
