HOWO 14cbm compact bin trucks Botswana

The Sinotruk HOWO 14cbm compact bin truck is a 4x2 rear-loading waste collection vehicle built on a 290HP light duty HOWO chassis, designed for daily refuse transport in urban centres, industrial zones, ports, airports, and densely populated areas. It handles municipal and industrial waste with a 12 cubic metre compaction body, reducing the number of trips and preventing spillage and odour release during transit. The truck operates with a fully hydraulic system that automates loading, compaction, and discharge, allowing one operator to manage the entire process. It meets European V and VI tail gas emission standards, ensuring environmental compliance in regulated markets.

Key Benefits

  • 12 cubic metre compaction body with 1/3 to 1/4 compaction ratio reduces transport frequency and fuel use
  • Rear loading with optional bucket lifter enables efficient waste collection from fixed bins or open containers
  • Fully hydraulic system automates loading, compaction, and discharge with cycle times under 18 seconds
  • Leakage-proof design with integrated sewage water collection tank prevents secondary pollution
  • 10000 kg rear axle and 4500 mm wheelbase provide stability on uneven urban roads and unpaved access routes
  • Siemens PLC control system ensures reliable operation and consistent performance under high duty cycles

Comparison

How It Compares With the Alternatives

Non-compacting waste truck with 10 m³ capacityCarries less waste per trip and requires more frequent hauls, but has lower initial cost and simpler maintenance
Front-loading compactor truckBetter for narrow streets and fixed bins but requires more space for turning and has higher operating complexity
Manual loading truck with open binLower upfront cost but increases labour needs, spillage risk, and environmental impact during transport

Buyer Questions About This Truck

What is the lead time for this compact bin truck?

Generally 30 days after receiving the advance payment. The exact delivery date depends on chassis availability and customisation options.

Can the compaction body be made from stainless steel?
