What is documented is the screen itself: a 36sqm indoor rental LED wall supplied on X6 P6.25 cabinets for the Jalisco Travel Fest in Jalisco, Mexico, delivered in July 2017. A wall of this size on rental cabinets is bought by a rental and staging operation rather than by a venue.
The Project Challenge
Build a 36sqm indoor LED wall for a travel festival that must be installed and struck quickly, with no rear access, and must maintain visual continuity across a curved or shaped layout without visible seams.

Our Solution
The wall was supplied on X6 P6.25 rental cabinets with a slim and lightweight die-cast aluminium cabinet at 26kg per square metre, available in 500x500mm and 500x1000mm formats. The cabinets feature a fast lock system with high precision positioning, angle adjustment for curved builds, truss hanging and ground support options, and front and rear access for module replacement. The design allows tool-free installation and supports both concave and convex floor screen configurations.
Manufacturing Process
- SMT placement and reflow soldering of the LED modules
- Soldering inspection and module ageing test before assembly
- Cabinet assembly with flatness alignment on the assembling line
- Screen installation test with the cabinets built up as a wall
- Screen ageing test before the wall was dismantled and packed
Supply Chain Coordination
Cabinets were packed together with spare modules, receiving cards, and power supplies so the crew had field spares from the first event rather than waiting on a second shipment.
Quality Control
Modules passed soldering inspection and an ageing test, and the cabinets were built up as a wall in the factory for a screen installation test and a screen ageing test, which is what matches brightness and colour across cabinets before they ship.
