Where The Brush Series Wins

Price per unit, simplicity and stock keeping. One supply voltage across four series means a dealer recommends one battery and one charger. Stepped control is easy to explain in a shop and easy to operate on the water. For hire fleets and entry level retail, the ET Series and FT Series at 45 to 65 lbs cover most of the demand.

Where The Brushless Series Wins

Running hours, thrust ceiling and control quality. There are no brushes to inspect or replace, rated current is 5A against 11A, and the family reaches 150 lbs on 48V with the MAX300. Infinitely variable speed on the P Series and S Series lets an angler hold a drift precisely instead of stepping between fixed speeds. The P Series also lists overload protection and reverse connection protection, which matters when a customer wires a battery back to front.
