Can a product be modified rather than made from scratch?
In most cases yes, and it is the cheaper route. Finish, colour, leather and logo treatment change without new tooling; geometry changes need a new tool.
Are these parts in stock?
These are production parts, not stock items. Each order is produced to your finish and branding, which is why lead time runs 8 to 12 weeks for a new programme.
