What The Water-Cooled Condensing Unit Does
Water-cooled condensing units use a shell-and-tube condenser fed by an external cooling tower or chilled water loop, eliminating the need for outdoor air-cooled condensers. Ideal for: rooftop space-constrained installations, high-ambient tropical climates (>40°C summer), industrial sites with existing cooling water supply, and any application demanding maximum year-round efficiency.
Howcool's water-cooled units use Bitzer or Frascold semi-hermetic compressors, stainless-steel shell-and-tube condensers (316L), and high-quality cupro-nickel heat exchanger tubes rated for seawater service if required. Standard configurations 20-300HP single compressor, plus parallel-rack configurations for >300HP duties.
