What The IQF Spiral Freezer Does
Howcool IQF Spiral Freezers combine high capacity with compact footprint. The stainless-steel belt spirals upward around a central drum supported by external tower structure — providing 8-20 tiers of belt in a small floor space. Typical product residence time 15-60 minutes — long enough for deep-freezing of thick products (up to 60mm).
Available in 8 standard models: SD100 (100 kg/h) to SD2000 (2,000 kg/h). Belt widths 500-1,200mm, tier counts 8-20. Drum diameter 2-4m. Ammonia direct-expansion or brine indirect cooling. CIP system, programmable defrost, and PLC monitoring all standard.
