Shanghai Da Gao Medical Products Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995 and has specialised since then in the production of medical external fixators, shoulder fixators, medical orthopaedic supports, post-operative rehabilitation shoes and related medical products. The range that grew out of that work now covers 43 articles across five families, and all of it is made on the same site.

More than 160 types of production equipment are installed, including cutting machines, a shoemaking line, sewing machines, gluing machines, a freezer, presses and balers, which keeps cutting, sewing, bonding, pressing and packing in-house rather than subcontracted.
The People
There are 80 employees at the company, 11 of them professional and technical personnel. That technical group is what supports process control and product inspection, and it is the practical reason a repeat order can be matched against an earlier delivery rather than rebuilt from scratch.
