Start With The Body Not The Photograph

Almost every shower head in a Chinese catalogue looks the same in a photograph. What separates them is the body construction and where the finish is applied. Our whole shower programme is built as an ABS plastic body with chrome plating, and the plating runs on our own line inside the plant rather than at an outside shop. That single fact decides more about the product a buyer receives than the shape of the spray plate does.

When you compare two quotations, ask each supplier where the plating happens. A factory that moulds the body and sends it out for plating has no control over the step that customers complain about most.

Decide The Spray Function Before The Model

Single function handsets are cheaper to make, cheaper to pack and less likely to be returned. Multi function and LED handsets sell a story on a shelf. In our own catalogue the CM and CMA models cover the mainstream single function positions, the HY models carry the multi function and LED variants, and the long running S and 1H models sit at the entry price point.

Pick the function first and the model list gets short very quickly.

Check The Pressure Window Against Your Market

Our published working water pressure range is 6 to 12 kg. A handset designed for that window will underperform on a gravity fed system and can feel harsh on a high pressure mains supply. Send your market's typical supply pressure with the enquiry rather than after the sample arrives.

Confirm The Connection With A Sample

Shower threads look alike and are not alike. The fastest way to remove the risk is to send the hose or mixer you actually use, or a dimensioned drawing of it. We would rather confirm a thread than ship an adaptor.

Fix The Pack At The Same Time As The Product

Our published packing description is an inner package of bubble bag, blister bag or colour box, and an outer package of paper box and export carton. Those are not interchangeable commercially. A blister hangs on a peg and shows the product. A colour box stacks, protects better and gives more print area. The decision changes the carton quantity, the freight and the shelf result, so it belongs in the first conversation.

Work Out The Real Landed Cost

Our published FOB range for the shower head series is USD 0.5 to 4.0 per piece, the MOQ is 1,000 pieces and the delivery time is within 40 days after order confirmation. Those three numbers plus the carton quantity are enough to model a landed cost properly. A per piece price on its own is not.
