The BSM045P is the top of this range: 45 watts at STC, 2.56 amps optimum operating current and 13.10 % module efficiency, which is the highest figure published across the nine modules here. It occupies the same 537 × 665 × 30 mm frame as the 40 W panel and weighs the same 10 lbs, so on a roof it costs nothing extra in space or mounting hardware.
It is built to the same specification as the rest of the multicrystalline line — 36 cells at 156 mm × 52 mm in a 4 × 9 layout, low iron tempered glass, EVA laminate, black TPT backsheet and an anodised aluminium frame — and rated to 1000 VDC and −40 °C to +85 °C.
