Thermostat Certifications for Export Markets
Certification decides which markets a thermostat can enter. This is what we hold, and what each mark covers.
CE and RoHS
CE covers the essential requirements for the European market, and RoHS restricts hazardous substances in the electronics and housing. Both appear across our range.
UL and CSA
UL and CSA cover North American and Canadian safety requirements. Our products are built to comply with UL and CSA requirements alongside CE and RoHS.
FCC and R&TTE
Radio products need approval for the band they use. FCC documentation covers our WiFi models, and R&TTE appears on models offered with a remote control function such as OCTK301AC.
CCC and ISO
CCC is required for the Chinese market and appears on several models including C7, S715 and OCTK601AC. ISO documentation covers the quality system behind production, with ISO9001 named on the S725 and S2302.
Patents
Our products have applied for US and EU patents, which protects the design rights behind a private label range built on our platforms.
Getting the right paperwork
Certification is model specific and market specific. Tell us the destination market and the exact model, and the certificate set is issued with the quotation rather than after shipment.
