The Qsafe Laryngeal Mask is a supraglottic airway with an integrated bite block that prevents the tube collapsing if the patient bites down, and a gastric channel for a drainage tube. Sizes 1 to 5 start at size 1 for neonates and infants up to 5 kg, with maximum cuff inflation from 5 ml at size 1 to 40 ml at size 5, and gastric tube capacity from 6Fr to 14Fr. It is used for anaesthesia, emergency and resuscitation.

Use Guide
- Select the size by patient weight, starting at size 1 for up to 5 kg
- Insert along the hard palate until resistance is felt
- Inflate the cuff up to but not beyond the maximum volume for that size
- Pass a gastric tube through the drainage channel within the Fr limit for the size
