Specification
A board is only as good as the painted surface it is built on, and local paint lines rarely hold a writing grade finish.
Coil is painted with KCC and NIPPON systems in white green or black, glossy grid or matt projection.
Gauge
Too thin and large boards ripple, too thick and small boards cost more than they need to.
Thickness is selected anywhere in the 0.16 to 0.6mm range against your board sizes.
Frames
Buying coil and extrusion from different suppliers leaves the tolerance between them your problem.
We develop and produce aluminium frames and corners alongside the surface material so the two are matched.
Consistency
Colour drift between deliveries shows up as mismatched boards in the same room.
Colour and gloss are compared along the coil so boards cut from one order match each other.
Samples
Committing a production run to an unseen surface is a real risk.
We supply samples; the freight cost is discussed with the enquiry.
Shipping
Coil loads very differently from finished boards.
Coil ships far more writing area per container than assembled boards. Around 30 days for one 40'HQ.
