Acrylic if the artwork is photographic, because the insert is printed in full colour. Soft PVC if the logo has a distinctive outline or needs raised relief.
Is there a tooling cost for a custom shape?
A one-off mould cost applies to custom moulded PVC shapes and is quoted separately. Repeat orders on the same mould avoid it.
Can each tag carry different artwork?
On acrylic tags yes, because inserts are digitally printed, which also allows sequential numbering for key management.
