The TAB01-3 exists for cars that get more than one driver. Once a phone connects, the adapter detects the handset operating system and performs the car system conversion itself, switching between the CarPlay and Android Auto app environments without the driver changing a setting. It runs Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.4 on a dual-band 5.8 GHz link in an 18 g ABS shell.

Comparison With Other Models
A 2 in 1 adapter also handles both CarPlay and Android Auto, but the driver connects to a fixed configuration. The TAB01-3 identifies the phone system itself and converts the car, which is the difference that matters when the vehicle changes hands often. Against the 3 in 1 and 4 in 1 models it does not add Mirrorlink or AirPlay, so choose those if screen mirroring is part of the requirement.
