OEM And ODM Production
DANQ has run OEM and ODM production for overseas buyers since 2007. Moulding, grid assembly, electrical testing and export packing all happen in the same Yiwu plant, so a change to your handle, your colour or your packing does not have to travel between three subcontractors before anyone can quote it.
Every Step And The Problem It Removes
Each stage below names the thing that normally goes wrong at that point in a sourcing project, and what we do about it.
Enquiry
Problem: A buyer sends a competitor photo and no specification, and gets a price for something else
How we handle it: We match the photo to a model in the range and confirm head size, voltage, weight and packing in writing before quoting
Sampling
Problem: Samples arrive in the standard bag, not in the packing the buyer intends to sell
How we handle it: Samples are produced in the packing format you will actually use, so the retail decision is made on the real thing
Tooling And Logo
Problem: Printed logos rub off in transit and arrive looking second-hand
How we handle it: On plastic models the logo is engraved into the tool. On electric models it is printed on the handle and the packaging
Materials
Problem: A substituted mesh or housing turns a tested product into an untested one
How we handle it: Models stay on the specification the certificates were issued against, PP and aluminium alloy on lamps, moulded plastic and metal mesh on rackets
Production
Problem: Assembly spread across suppliers makes a fault impossible to trace
How we handle it: Moulding, assembly and testing run in one plant with the same QC staff on every stage
Testing
Problem: Grid faults found by the customer instead of the factory
How we handle it: High voltage output and finished weight are checked in-line, and charging is verified on rechargeable models
Packing
Problem: Cartons nobody measured waste a third of the container
How we handle it: Carton size and 20 ft GP and 40 ft HQ loading are published per model and confirmed at packing
Shipping
Problem: Goods arrive at the DC with marks nobody can scan
How we handle it: Carton shipping marks are printed to your distribution centre specification
