The Two Tube Technologies
The DANQ lamp range splits cleanly. IK0112T, IK0240T and IK0330T use a 365 nm UV tube rated at 5000 hours. IK0804L and IK0110L use a 395 nm LED tube rated at one to two years. Both sit in a PP and aluminium alloy housing with an electronic ballast and an electronic transformer, and both run a 1600 V output grid.
Coverage Is The Specification That Matters
Coverage is stated per model in square metres: 5 to 20 on IK0804L and IK0112T, 5 to 15 on IK0110L, 5 to 50 on IK0330T and 10 to 70 on IK0240T. Specify from the room area first. A lamp that covers 15 square metres in a 60 square metre dining room is a complaint waiting to happen.
Replacement Cost Over Five Years
5000 hours is roughly a year of continuous running, or two to three seasons of restaurant use. An LED tube rated at one to two years shifts that cost but sits in the smaller coverage models. For a site with many units, the tube change labour usually decides this, not the tube price.
Size And Shipping
The lamps are the heaviest items in the DANQ range. IK0330T weighs 2050 g with a 21.5 kg gross carton and loads 1900 pcs into a 20 ft GP. IK0804L weighs 800 g with a 16.9 kg gross carton and loads 4000 pcs. Ship them with rackets and plastic swatters to fill out the container.
Power And Plug Options
Every lamp accepts 220-230 V or 110-120 V at 50/60 Hz. Plug options listed are 2-pin round, 2-pin flat, UL approved and UK. Confirm the plug with the order, because it is the detail most often missed on a first shipment.
