This single decision changes carton count, volume, freight cost and the work your warehouse has to do on arrival. Retail packed goods arrive ready to put on a shelf and cost more per unit and more per cubic metre. Bulk packed goods are cheaper to ship and need repacking at your end.

For a marketplace seller, retail packing with a barcode usually pays for itself. For a workshop or a fleet, bulk is almost always the right answer.
