Most problems with an imported vehicle are decided before production starts, in the gap between what the buyer described and what the plant built. This is the workflow we use to close that gap: route and duty cycle first, chassis and driveline codes second, price last.
What Goes Wrong Without It
- A quotation that names a model but not the axle, gearbox or emission level
- Vehicles built to a domestic specification that cannot be registered where you operate
- Colour, cab and tyre decisions made by the plant because nobody wrote them down
- Deposits paid against a chat message rather than an approved specification sheet

Every step below names the decision that is yours and the evidence you receive. Nothing moves to the next step until the previous one is in writing.
How New Vehicle Sourcing Runs
You describe the load, the gradient, the surface and the daily cycle. Nothing is quoted before that, because the same money buys a very different truck depending on the answers.
We put the chassis model, engine, gearbox, axles, tyres, cab, emission level and steering side in writing. That sheet is what your import licence and registration office will read.
Cab colour, sleeper layout, spare wheels, tool boxes, fifth wheel height and tyre brand are settled here, not after production.
The proforma invoice repeats the approved specification. The build slot is confirmed in writing with it.
Chassis, engine and gearbox numbers are photographed against the approved sheet. Engine start and gear engagement are recorded on video.
RoRo or container is booked, and commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin are issued to match your customs wording.

Questions About New Vehicle Sourcing
How long does a factory build take
It depends on the plant schedule at the time of order and on how far the specification differs from a standard build. We confirm a date in writing with the proforma invoice rather than quoting a generic lead time.
Can I change the specification after the deposit
Small items such as colour or tool boxes are often still possible early in the slot. Chassis, axle and gearbox changes usually mean a new slot, so it is far cheaper to settle them before the deposit.
Do you supply the same model in left and right hand drive
For most truck and bus ranges yes. Tell us the registration country at quotation stage because steering side changes lighting, mirrors and sometimes the cab wiring.
What if the delivered unit does not match the sheet
That is what the pre-loading photographs are for. Anything that does not match the approved specification is corrected before the vessel is booked.
