Before Anything Is Cut
Check three published numbers on the datasheet of the model in front of you: the cutting unit, the maximum connection length from one power cord, and the waterproof construction. Those three decide the whole layout.

Maximum Run Length
- At 220V, one power cord supports up to 100 meters of our mains-voltage strip light.
- At 110V, one power cord supports up to 50 meters.
- Low-voltage 12V and 24V runs are shorter and are limited by voltage drop across the run, so the driver position matters.
Connectors
We produce our male and female quick connectors on our own injection moulding machines. On the construction and mining range the connectors are already fitted to the drum, so a run is extended by plugging one drum into the next rather than by making a joint on site.
Outdoor Waterproof Treatment
- The cut end is the weak point on any strip, whatever the strip's own IP rating is.
- IP65 drop glue, IP66 silicone tube and IP68 irrigation glue are different constructions, not different coatings — see our waterproof rating guide.
- The dimmable silicone range carries professional outdoor 3M VHB double-sided adhesive on the back for easier fixing.
- IP68 irrigation-glue strip is supplied without 3M adhesive backing, so plan a mechanical fixing.
Dimming And Control
- Our dimmable silicone strip light supports Triac dimmers with 0-100% brightness adjustment.
- Our ETL panel light range includes button-switch 3CCT, wall-switch 3CCT with memory function and dimmable versions.
- A DMX master and controller can synchronise colour across separate runs, and WiFi control is also possible.
- The UFO high bay uses 0-10V dimming with adjustable power and adjustable colour temperature.
