One Product Family Four Different Approvals
A luminaire that is fully compliant in Frankfurt is not automatically sellable in Toronto or Osaka. Each market runs its own scheme, and the scheme is tied to a model number and a construction. Below is what we hold, taken from our own certificate file.

Questions To Settle Before You Order
- Which market is the shipment destined for? That decides the mark, not the price.
- Does the approval need to be in your company name or is ours acceptable to your customer?
- Is the construction being changed? A customised construction may fall outside an existing certificate.
- Does the project specification call out a specific report, such as IK10 or DIN EN 62471?
