Why This Comes Up

HAN Trade has shipped electron tubes since 1993, and the packing is chosen for the goods the destination and the transport method rather than being the same carton every time. Glass envelopes ceramic bodies and magnet assemblies each fail in their own way when they are packed badly.

Process

How It Runs From Enquiry to Delivery

Goods assessedEach item is looked at for what is fragile about it: the envelope, the base, the top cap, the terminals or the magnet assembly. The weak point differs by product line, so the packing does too.
Inner packingTubes are boxed individually so nothing moves inside its own box. Movement inside the box is what breaks pins and seals.
Outer packingThe outer carton is chosen so the inner boxes are held clear of the walls and the corners. Corner impact is the most common damage in air freight handling.
Transport methodThe route is chosen against the destination the urgency and the nature of the goods. Air freight for a line that is down, sea freight for a planned build.
DocumentsInvoice and packing details are prepared for the destination customs. Paperwork that matches the goods keeps the shipment moving.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Single pieces for repair work are normal orders, and repeat quantities can be scheduled separately.
